My Virtual Model - Fashion Search
You might have noticed that last week Microsoft announced a Visual Search application for their Bing search engine. This is good news for My Virtual Model Visual Search. Visual Search is hot and cool!

But what makes My Virtual Model Visual Search different and unique from Microsoft Visual Search?

My Virtual Model Visual Search is a Fashion Search Engine, a Find Engine. Users can search visually with Key Images.

Are you looking for a specific style for a wedding, a birthday, a party, a date, a business presentation, a meeting to get a job or a promotion, an interview for a TV show? Are you planning your outfits for the week? Key Images are the most natural way to do it.

To use Key Images efficiently, we're
providing you with online 3D environment:
dressing rooms, runways, virtual closets, as well as various setups and backgrounds. Right now we're offering you this community website to create looks and collages. We will evolve it to your virtual closet and other virtual environments.

Fashion Search is "Google for Fashion". Welcome to this fascinating experience.
Don't forget we're launching Quick 3D this month. Try on these New Quick 3D Items for a hands-on experience. We can now produce tryable 3D garments very quickly. Try on new brands and tell us what you think?

Which brands would you like to try on and buy? Tell your favorite brands to join My Virtual Model Community.

I love to mashup Quick 3D catalog items with Visual Search catalog items. It is stimulating. Once Quick 3D will be available to users, you will be able to add garments from your own wardrobe to your virtual closet.
In my next blog, I will talk about the new movie "Coco avant Chanel".
I am invited on a TV show to inspire young women and girls about technology, fashion, design, glamour, and will. We all need inspiration. The last time I wanted to find a movie about a woman who could be a role model for me, many candidates were dramatic if not tragic. I chose to watch "Annie the Orphan" to laugh and be energized. Chanel will most certainly please me.

Do you have any suggestion of other great inspiring women?

MVM has now access to an overwhelming selection of more than 35,5000 fashion items for women's. Where should we start? Have you say and help us selecting the most promising fashion styles. Vote for your favorite items and have a chance to see item in our next 3D collection release. CAST MY VOTE

hi everyone! I just casted my vote and i love that French Connection - Lavish Lurex Halter (Black) - Apparel. I love French Connection, they have cool collection in this side of the world. I hope people are loving them there too! This array of brands mvm came up to give you almost all the options and help you display your sense of fashion...at large. You Louise is one inspiring woman for me for giving all other women this wonderful expression of one self. Carry on!

The visual search on the other hand is finally here. Will definitely make our choices/searches a lot easier and specific. Good, good!

Hi Louise

I really like the new outfits coming out in quick 3D.  The variety is amazing.  You can pick a top and find several skirts and pants to go with it or find a skirt or pants and find several tops to go with it. Talk about getting the most out of a wardrobe.  I still do hope for the ability to rotate your model to return, but in the mean time I love see all the new items being added every week.

Hi Louise

I would like to say something regarding the point that Payton brought up.  It does seem that the rush to get as many items in quick3d as quickly as possible is effecting the quality of the 3d look.  The edges are rough, the hems uneven and the Vnecks are not centered.  I would rather see a better quality, then more quanity.

I agree with fashiongodess001; we definitely could use some additions to the backgrounds, accessory items like belts, hats, gloves, sun glasses, jewelry (including earrings, chokers--16" necklaces, etc.). This is such a great site with great potential, but introducing a greater line of accessories would definitely boost the enthusiasm!

I agree belts, hats and also eyewear would be good - also more shoes

I like the fact that when I sign back on to MVM that there is a default outfit.  I really like that the default outfits change.  They have been some very cute outfits and its nice that those items are available.  I could see my self puchasing one of these outfits exactly as it appears, without any changes.  I hope this feature continues.

Hi girls,

I am back from Helsinki in Finland. I have presented as a key note speaker and I talked about User Centricity, Luxury and Personalization.I invited on my panel experts from Louis Vuitton in Global Media, IBM in Social Media, in eLuxury and Spreadshirts in Tshirts customization. They were even fashion experts from The London School of Fashion who are interested to participate in our Community.

You are right we will bring more accessories and we are working to perfect the results of the Quick3D! Stay tuned it is a continuous improvement.

How about a new contest.  There has not been one for awhile.  I think alot of the girls enjoy them, I know I do.

I also think it would be nice if there is some way to acknowledge who's look I am defaulting to when I sign on.  If I like that outfit, I would like to see more of what that person has posted.

Hi gimpygardner,

Welcome to the Community and I am glad that you enjoy it! Sadly, as in real life, not all retailers produce their garments in all sizes, however, when you go into the "Create a look" section, the results are filtered according to your model's size, so you should be able to try-on every garment there. Also, in the Quick 3D section (www.mvm.com/.../quick3D.aspx) all garments are done in all sizes, so you can try them all on!

Hope this answers!

Um, I want to put tall boots over my model's jeans, how do I do that?  Every time I put books on her it's always under her jeans.
